Automation and Electrical in Asturias
- Are there industrial automation and electrical technicians in Asturias?
- The Avilés-Gijón-Oviedo axis concentrates almost all activity, with the Somonte, Tabaza, Silvota and Asipo industrial estates. The search shows you those who declare Asturias as their province, and also those based elsewhere who declare mobility to it — which in this speciality is a significant share of the total.
- What industry is there in Asturias?
- The industrial landscape of Asturias is shaped by steelmaking and metal processing, heavy boilermaking, capital goods for mining and energy, and chemical and process industries in the centre of the region. What companies in the province look for most is industrial maintenance and welding for process installations, and mechanical assembly of large equipment.
- Can I hire someone from outside Asturias?
- Yes. Each technician declares their mobility range —provincial, regional or nationwide— and you see it next to their location in the results. For a short assignment in the Principality of Asturias, someone with nationwide mobility is often as viable as someone nearby.
- Can I search by PLC or software brand?
- Yes. Skills are declared individually —Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000, EPLAN Electric P8, Cognex— and the search lets you combine as many as you need. A Siemens programmer is no use for a Rockwell installation, and the filter respects that difference.
