Freelance industrial engineers in Spain
Industrialising a new product, validating a design through simulation or understanding why a part failed are projects with a beginning and an end. Here you will find the engineer who has done it before, for as long as it takes.
/ For companies
Find the right technician.
- Filter by the tool you use: ANSYS, Abaqus, STAR-CCM+, SolidWorks, Siemens NX.
- Separate those who design the product from those who validate it through simulation: they are different trades.
- Check the work experience confirmed by the company where each project was done.
- Talk directly to the engineer and agree the scope between you.
/ For technicians
Get found.
- Show models, meshes and results with links that expire and cannot be downloaded.
- Compete on technical judgement, not by cutting your rate on a list.
- Declare whether you work remotely: calculation and design work well at a distance.
- Ask colleagues who have already worked with that company before saying yes.

Within industrial engineering
- 01
Process Engineer
Designs and improves how things are made: PFD and P&ID diagrams, balances, capacity and bottlenecks, process FMEA and new product industrialisation.
- 02
Product Engineer
Takes the part from concept to validation: 3D CAD, GD&T, DFMEA, design for manufacture and assembly, prototypes and PLM management.
- 03
CAE / Simulation Engineer
Calculates before manufacturing: finite element analysis with ANSYS or Abaqus, non-linear, fatigue, modal and thermal analysis, and correlation with tests.
- 04
CFD Engineer
Simulates fluids and heat with Fluent, STAR-CCM+ or OpenFOAM: meshing, turbulence, multiphase flow, ventilation and experimental validation.
- 05
Materials Engineer
Selects, treats and tests the material, and explains why it failed: metallurgy, composites, heat treatments, NDT and failure analysis.
/ Frequently asked questions
About industrial engineering
- Can I hire someone just to simulate a design we already have?
- Yes. You agree the scope directly between you: there are no packaged projects or minimum blocks here. Search in Engineering and filter by the calculation software you need, such as ANSYS Mechanical or Abaqus.
- What is the difference between a product engineer and a mechanical designer?
- A product engineer defines and validates the part —requirements, DFMEA, prototypes—; a Design Office mechanical designer designs machines and tooling and gets them ready for manufacture. They overlap in CAD, which is why searching by skill finds both if they use the same tool.
- Are there engineers who work remotely?
- Many. Each technician declares whether they accept remote work and their mobility range, and the search lets you keep only those who work remotely. If the project requires being on site, narrow it down by province.
- I'm an engineer. How do I appear in these searches?
- Activate your profile, choose Engineering as your category and your trade within it, and add the skills for that trade. If you work in two areas —for example, CAE and materials— you can open a second freelancer profile for the other trade.
